  • Control valve position check
  • Fire pump operation (if applicable)
  • Gauges and alarm valves visual check

Monthly

  • Sprinkler heads visual inspection
  • Pipe hangers and supports
  • Waterflow alarm devices

Quarterly

  • Waterflow alarm test
  • Supervisory signal devices
  • Control valve operation
  • Gauges calibration check

Annual

  • Sprinkler heads inspection (in areas not inspected quarterly)
  • Pipe and fittings inspection
  • Hangers and seismic bracing inspection
  • Alarm devices inspection
  • Hydraulic nameplate verification
  • Main drain flow test
  • Backflow preventer test (if part of system)
  • Gauges replaced or calibrated (every 5 years)
  • Dry-pipe valve trip test (full trip every 3 years)
  • Antifreeze solution concentration test
  • Obstruction investigation (every 5 years or as triggered)

WHAT WE SERVICE

All Sprinkler System Types

Wet Pipe Systems

The most common type — pipes are always filled with pressurized water, ready to discharge immediately when a head activates.

Dry Pipe Systems

Pipes are filled with pressurized air or nitrogen. Used in unheated spaces where water could freeze. Water releases when air pressure drops.

Pre-Action Systems

Require two triggers before water flows — ideal for data centers, museums, and areas where accidental discharge would cause significant damage.

Deluge Systems

All heads are open and discharge simultaneously when triggered. Used in high-hazard areas like aircraft hangars and chemical storage.

Antifreeze Systems

Wet pipe systems with antifreeze solution in portions exposed to freezing temperatures. Require annual concentration testing.

WHAT WE FIND

Common Sprinkler System Issues

Our inspectors are trained to identify problems before they become failures. Here's what we commonly find and correct.

Corroded or Damaged Heads

Sprinkler heads can corrode over time, reducing reliability. We identify and replace compromised heads before they fail.

Obstructed Sprinklers

Storage, shelving, or equipment placed too close to sprinkler heads can block coverage. We identify clearance violations.

Pipe Leaks & Corrosion

Internal pipe corrosion is a leading cause of system failure. Our inspections include obstruction investigation per NFPA 25.

Frozen or Dry Pipe Issues

Dry-pipe and pre-action systems require special attention in cold climates. We test trip mechanisms and air pressure integrity.

Improper Modifications

Unauthorized changes to sprinkler systems are a common compliance violation. We identify and document any non-conforming work.

Valve Control Issues

Closed or partially closed control valves are a top cause of sprinkler system failure during a fire. We verify all valves are in the correct position.

THE PROCESS

What to Expect From Your Inspection

Our inspectors arrive on time, work efficiently to minimize disruption to your operations, and provide a complete written report the same day. All findings are documented with photos and referenced to the applicable NFPA 25 section.

01

Schedule & Confirm

We confirm your appointment, system type, and any special access requirements in advance.

02

On-Site Inspection

Our technician performs a thorough inspection per NFPA 25, testing all required components for your system type and frequency.

03

Same-Day Report

You receive a detailed digital report documenting all findings, deficiencies, and recommended corrections.
