Recharge & Replacement
Discharged or failed units recharged or replaced
NFPA 10 requires annual inspection of all portable fire extinguishers by a qualified service technician.
Monthly visual checks by the property owner are also required between annual inspections.
Different fire hazards require different extinguisher types. We verify every unit is correctly matched to the hazard it protects.
For wood, paper, cloth, and plastics. Water, foam, or multipurpose dry chemical agents.
For gasoline, oil, grease, and solvents. CO2, dry chemical, or foam agents.
For energized electrical fires. CO2 or dry chemical — never water.
For magnesium, titanium, and other reactive metals. Dry powder agents specific to the metal type.
Required in commercial kitchens. Wet chemical agents that saponify cooking oils to suppress fire.
The most common type for general commercial and residential use. Covers Class A, B, and C hazards.

Hydrostatic Testing
A gauge reading in the red zone means the extinguisher will not discharge properly. Immediate recharge or replacement required.
A missing pull pin or broken tamper seal indicates the extinguisher may have been used or tampered with and must be inspected.
Using the wrong extinguisher class on a fire can make it worse. We verify every unit is correctly matched to the hazard it protects.
Extinguishers without a current annual inspection tag are a code violation. We get you current and keep you on schedule.
Dents, rust, or damaged hoses can prevent proper operation. We identify and replace compromised units.
NFPA 10 specifies maximum travel distances and mounting heights. Blocked or improperly located extinguishers are a common violation.
Our technicians inspect every extinguisher on your property, update inspection tags, and provide a complete service record. Discharged or failed units are recharged or replaced the same visit.
